I love our dane! She is wonderful...a puppy for sure but I am glad we have her!

Hi...we dont yet have a dane, but it may be in our future plans! I wanted to help out a rescue group, so I am volunteering for the Mid Atlantic Great Dane Rescue just to help out danes in need.

did someone see "good boy" on tv last night ???? lol... the greater dane is the ruler of all dogs !!!! that's what i am talking about ... she was beautiful , too .

Had to chime in and say hello to some fellow Dane lovers, this is my boy Duke, wife and I also have his brother and litter mate "max" two brindle males who will turn 6 in December.

she is a real beauty , i love her !!!!!
the thing about the ears is really just a looks thing , there are more danes now without cropped ears then ever . if you plan on making her a showdog then it's probably best to have them cut for a pet it's just what you prefer ...i guess that didn't help ...lol
at work it's usually the guys that want the cropped ears (mostly on the pitt bulls)

Yes, on the pic in the contest. I don't know how mine got there either! But even though I love Sonya and Cassie (my daughter in the pic) I think there are much cuter pics in the contest! I rated your pic and mine! That was a really cute picture! Now you have me thinking on the ears deal. My husband doesn't have an opinion one way or the other. I just want her to look like a dane, my parents had one and her ears were not cropped either. A couple years back, I was still living in TN but came here to visit family, I saw the most beautiful danes in petsmart! So I looked up the pic (they were so pretty I just had to) and their ears were not cropped either! I may not crop them. I just want her to be pretty. I will have to get my husband to make the decision!
