Yoshimi was adopted from the humane society in florida and I alsways just thought siamese cats were beautiful and personally the ones I have known always were very friendly. I guess that some can be kind of temperamental.

Yoshimi and Zero (our grey & white kitty) just love eachother and both enjoy greeting new people. Yoshimi will pick a new person and just jump up in their lap and stick her butt up in their face. If they dont pet her, she runs away complaining!! lol

When ever she walks about the house, her tail is always in a "hook" shape, which really makes her appear like she thinks she is the queen!

Hello Cat Lover -

I have two Siamese, they are brother and sister and both are talkers. They are half Sealpoint and half Chocolate. The female, Isis, looks Sealpoint and her brother, Ra, is skinny and not as dark so he takes after the Chocolate half.

My husband and I have been around Siamese all our life and will probably always have one in the house. I find that the female Siamese tend to hang out with the male of the household and the male Siamese the female (me) of the household.

They don't like visitors showing up at the house. The female hides and the male will follow the person around hissing and swiping when he gets a chance. Luckily people that visit are animal lovers and respect his boundaries. But it can be a bit embarrassing!

I love the Siamese breed, their personalities are amazing. I have also owned "mutt cats" which are rescues, either they found me or went to shelters to adopt. I never knew what different personalities cats can have until I had my own place to live and kept them indoors.

Would love to hear from other Siamese owners!

Hello Dianne, I hope this finds you and little Simba well. I am sorry it took me so long to re-post, I have had my hands full with sick babies. I spoke to Dr. Burris and she doesn't believe it will hurt Simba to get her dental cleaning. She is more…
